To create a safe atmosphere to hear from God.
God desires that we put our faith in Him and not the world. He wants to talk to us. He alone can give us true hope and a fulfilling vision for our future. In our busy lives, it is easy to become distracted from what is truly important. God appreciates when we intentionally create space to listen, rest and simply enjoy His love.
The Encounter is designed to facilitate an encounter with our Heavenly Father. For those who want to know Him in a more intimate way, this weekend is for YOU!

Regina was born in Mexico City, Mexico and moved to Eureka Springs at the age of three. She lived there for 10 years and then moved to Springdale. Being born and raised Catholic caused strain in relationship with God and resentment towards religion, but this was radically changed after encountering God’s heart for His unified body. God has also given her a ministry of “discovering and enlightening value to those who are trapped in darkness”, with a focus on reaching young women and discipling leaders. Regina attended YWAM, a discipleship training school, in Tyler Texas in the year 2015. During that time she got to know God in a very personal way. God then challenged her to move back to Arkansas. Little did she know moving back home would be the most incredible adventure. She since joined staff at Agape Fellowship in Springdale as youth pastor, worship leader, and missions coordinator.
In four years of working at Agape, her passion for people and her heart for missions has been cultivated and refined and she is continuing to grow in love. Now, at 23 years old, Regina is recently married to Joel Capps; a barber by trade and a man of solid integrity by nature. Being a wife to her best friend and spending time with family are two of her top favorites. Journaling as well as exploring new coffee shops and dining spots also make her list of things she loves.
Regina is all about deep conversations and details that are woven into different experiences. She is honored to be speaking at this years Young Womens Encounter and to share life changing moments with as many hearts as possible.
Tamika is a 23-year-old in her second year of teaching 8th grade newly arrived ESL students and her third year of being married to Caleb Pennington. She has seen the Lord work in her life in so many ways, but she connects to Him the most through others and through writing (the dream is to write many books someday!)
She is an NWA native, but hopes to overcome her fear of airplanes to travel the world!
